Hill Series
The Hill Series is based on hills in Sonoma County just north of San Francisco and hills in the Big Bar Lake area of the Caribou in BC.
I'm fascinated with the simplicity and barren look of the landscape and the dry hills in both places. i spend time every year in both these places as i have family in the Bay area and in the Caribou.
